What's the proper hand washing technique?

1. Using warm water, wet hands to the wrist, fingertips facing down. 2. Apply a small amount of soap and create lather. 3. Use firm motion to wash up to the wrists for at least 30 seconds. Include backs of hands, between the fingers, and under the fingernails. 4. Keep hands lower than elbows. 5. Rinse well with warm water. 6. Dry hands with paper towel. 7. Use part of the towel to turn off the faucet. 8. Discard towel. NOTE: If hands are soiled with body fluids, wash (Step 3) for at least one minute.
