1. Ask if the Christian patient or resident has any dietary restrictions. Some faiths have fasting days, food restrictions, or special diets. If so, notify the nurse. 2. Some Christian patients or residents may wish to have clergy visits, receive communion, or receive blessings. In the event of serious illness or impending death, they may require Last Rites. 3. The CNA/Nurse Aide should notify the nurse immediately if a Christian patient or resident, or their family, makes a request.
