What is PASS?
definition
P = PULL. Pull the plastic ring or pin that keeps the fire extinguisher from accidental discharge. A = AIM. Aim low, pointing at the base of the fire. S = SQUEEZE. Squeeze the handle to start the flow. S = SWEEP. Sweep the nozzle from side to side, at the base of the fire. Continue until the fire is out, watching to be sure it does not re-ignite.
