FREE CNA Practice Test: Safety and Emergency Procedures 1
Welcome to the CNA Practice Test for Safety and Emergency Procedures!
Every health care professional faces a possible safety or medical emergency. As a first-line caregiver, the CNA may be the first to recognize signs of distress. A CNA is responsible for knowing how to respond to common unexpected patient situations. This practice test will provide some case studies that a CNA could encounter.
These 25 questions will help you prepare for the 2017 CNA examination. The questions are based on the categories that are included in the exam. They are similar (and often identical) to the actual questions that you will be asked. Each question has been researched and the answer has been verified.
Some of the topics covered in this practice test include:
- Responding to a choking patient
- What to do if a client is unconscious
- Safety during a fire
- Care for a burn
- Common emergency situations
Each of these questions has four options. Read the question carefully and select the best option. If you are not sure, click on the Hint button underneath the options to read a sentence that can help you choose the correct answer. If you make a mistake, don’t worry! The correct response will be displayed, along with an explanation to help you understand. Track your progress on the upper left corner. Your correct answers will be in green. If you miss more than 5 questions, you can restart the test and try again. Good luck!
